@CP24 First bed policies are one thing. What happens if they can't afford $400 a day? With many patients requiring the subsidized basic rate, this feels like a no-win situation
@CP24 Elephant in the room......people go to emergency departments because they cannot get in to see their primary care providers. On another note, if you can drink and eat while waiting to be seen in emergency, you probably don't need to be there
@CP24 It's not just compensation. The amount of abuse Healthcare staff get on the job is ridiculous! If people went into other businesses swearing, threatening to kill, hitting, kicking or spitting (or all of the above), they would be banned. But in Healthcare, you are there to care
5-year-old Frank Young from Red Earth Cree Nation in SK is still missing. He's 4 ft tall & last seen wearing green pyjamas w/ dinosaurs, navy-blue windbreaker & rubber Paw Patrol boots.
Anyone with info should call Carrot River RCMP at 306-768-1200 or 911 in case of emergency.
Not sure why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture called "Dignity" was unveiled several years ago in Chamberlain South Dakota.
Created by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation. It's absolutely stunning.
Employees and co-workers are like the little bird. Value their opinions, even if you don't agree, and they will soar to great heights. Shut them down, and they will fade away
She would sing her beautiful song, and the humans would coax her to come closer
One day she flew to close and they locked her in a cage. They clipped her wings so she could not fly away. When she would sing, they would become angry and yell
She went to live with the bear, who always wanted to hear her songs, and she gained back her strength and beauty. While she would no longer soar in the sky, she at least felt like she was heard.
There was once a beautiful bird, free to fly as high and as far as she liked. She would sing beautifully and the other animals would enjoy her songs.
One day the humans came. The bird, having no reason not to trust them, slowly began to fly closer to them every day
@SeamusORegan@DavidLametti This should include all health care workers, including screener! They are routinely threatened verbally and given death threats even for enforcing hospital entry policies
Hate when people take you away from your work to ask for assistance and then turn around and call someone else for the same answers like they don't believe you
