I want AI harnesses to automatically create a clickable outline of my chat so I can quickly navigate back to that part of my conversation. I waste so many tokens on: "remind me X" that we discussed above. Is there a editor or terminal alternative that does this?

Let me try to formalize some thoughts about Gen AI adoption that I have had, which I will call "The Bedazzlement Curve".

Most people underestimate how useful Gen AI would be if they tried to find use cases and overestimate issues - they're in "The Valley of Stochastic Parrots"

this should never happen. it should just magically work whether it was a great or horrible prompt

Until models can write perfect prompts under the hood we’re not getting mainstream ai adoption

Most people don’t know or care how to write “good prompts”

After 1-2 attempts they’ll usually leave

Better to think of prompting as a power user feature and build around that
