A Ruling That Can Only Be Described as Pure Evil

On Tuesday, in an unsigned emergency order that reads like a permission slip for suffering, the far-right Roberts Supreme Court cleared the way for third-country deportations. Immigrants can now be dumped in countries they have never lived in — places the U.S. itself has accused of torture and abuse — without a real chance to object.

The order lets the sadistic authoritarian Trump administration restart its Nazi-inspired rapid-removal machine: people shipped to Liberia, Equatorial Guinea, the Central African Republic, and other dumping grounds, often with little notice and no meaningful hearing. The destination is not their home. The risk is persecution, torture, and death. The Court did not bother to explain itself. The three liberal justices dissented.

This is not a technical stay. It is a green light for a policy whose whole design is to terrorize people by sending them somewhere worse than the place they fled. If cruelty were not the point, they would not need the midnight order.

Tense Encounter in San Diego: ICE Detains Woman Filming from McDonald's Parking Lot
A video recorded in San Diego, California, shows a tense altercation between a woman and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in a McDonald's parking lot. The footage captures the woman, who was acting as a legal observer, being detained after confronting the officers while filming.

The video begins with the woman, identifiable by her blonde hair and tattoos, filming from a distance as she speaks to the ICE officers. In the caption provided by the user, the woman is described as a legal observer who was "not in preventing their movement or proximity to an active detainment."

As she continues to film, she tells the officers, "Look at you out there. Don't tell me what to do. You don't own this parking lot. What are you going to do, arrest me? You can't arrest me." One of the officers, who is wearing a tactical vest with "ERO" on it, approaches her and says, "Yes, I will arrest you." The woman then tells him to "shut the [expletive] up," before an officer in a blue polo shirt steps in, stating she is impeding their operation. The camera then falls to the ground in a scramble as the officers attempt to detain the woman.

The woman can be heard protesting, repeating that she was "stepping back" and was not impeding their operation. She is pushed up against a vehicle and placed in handcuffs by the two officers. The camera is eventually picked up, and the woman is led away. As she asks what she is being arrested for, an officer replies, "impeding."

This footage shows agents surrounding a vehicle, smashing a window, then violently restraining a man with zero suspicion and no warrant.

“Immigration enforcement” cannot be a blanket excuse for unnecessary violence. A badge does not make every action lawful, and the person underneath those agents still has rights.

ICE shatter window with baby in car seat—violently detain both mom & dad.

It was the wrong guy.

Agents even had photo of the suspect—that clearly didn't match.

They took him anyway.

"Look! He is absolutely not the man in that photo!" mom cries.

"I'm not the one!" dad pleads. "I didn’t commit a robbery!"

Agents did handcuff and detain the mother at the scene—but eventually released her to take their child.

The family has a pending asylum case and has no idea why ICE locked up the father and separated the family.

Incident occurred near the intersection of 56th Street and Racine Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
