Just listen to some Hezbollah supporters on Spaces. They call any Lebanese person who stands with America and Israel instead of Iran a “Zionist” and a “traitor.” I am not making this up, some of the very people spreading this hatred and calling us “Zionists” actually live right here in America 🇺🇸, enjoying the freedom and security that America provides while supporting forces that openly oppose both America and Israel.

They even claim that if Hezbollah had been in charge, Lebanon would not be in the disastrous situation it is in today. Unbelievable. They also claim that every assassination of Lebanese patriots was carried out by Israel, refusing to acknowledge the truth and the suffering caused by the very forces they support.

I am sick and tired of these lies. What makes it worse is that parts of the media and many Western voices continue to repeat or legitimize this propaganda. But it doesn’t matter, the truth will prevail.

And if standing with America and Israel makes me a Zionist, then I am the biggest Zionist in the world, and I am damn proud of it.

I wasn't born Jewish. When I learned about the Holocaust in public school growing up, I came away from it feeling very depressed. For years, I had nightmares that I was a Holocaust victim.

It wasn't until I was a teen and started eating at Jewish delis and watching Woody Allen movies and laughed at Adam Sandler that I learned anything else about the Jewish people.

While I fully believe in Holocaust education in schools, I believe it is not teaching the entire picture of the Jewish people. Schools must also teach about Israel, and the inspirational story of how the Jewish people were able to finally return to their homeland. They must teach about how the Jewish people not only survived, but thrived after being persecuted. And about how Jews invented so many things that we love, from Waze and WhatsApp to Spider-Man and Superman, fish and chips to the slow cooker, and everything in between.

I felt sorry for the Jews when I learned about the Holocaust. But after I learned so much more about the Jewish people, I fell in love with the culture and, subsequently, the people. So much so that I converted and became one of them.

We need to teach the Holocaust -- but with a caveat. We must show the truly incredible full-picture story of the Jewish people, and how no matter what, they are eternal. They have been, and will always be, a light in this world.

The most documented massacre of Jews since the Holocaust was filmed by the murderers themselves.

Hamas terrorists recorded it.

Civilians who crossed the border recorded it.

Victims recorded their last moments.

So no, this is not about missing context.

It is about refusing the evidence.

October 7 started this war.

The invasion. The murders. The rapes. The burned homes. The children taken. The hostages dragged into Gaza.

That is not Israeli propaganda.

That is what happened.

And the war did not continue because Israel enjoys war.

It continued because Hamas refused to return the hostages.

Because those hostages were hidden, starved, tortured, and some executed.

Because hundreds of miles of terror tunnels were built under civilian neighborhoods.

Because tens of thousands of rockets and missiles, plus drones, have been fired at Israeli civilians by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and the IRGC.

But the antizionist crowd has a habit.

They begin the story after Jews are dead.

They skip the hostages.

They ignore the tunnels.

They excuse the rockets.

Then they ask why Israel is fighting back.

That is not moral clarity.

That is choosing not to see what is right in front of you.

And that denial does not stay in Israel.

It follows Jews into campuses, synagogues, workplaces, city streets, and online mobs.

It turns Jewish grief into an argument.

It turns Jewish fear into a punchline.

It turns Jewish survival into something we are expected to apologize for.

Pretending October 7 did not start this war is not peace activism.

Pretending Hamas could not end this by returning the hostages is not moral seriousness.

Last week we were sitting at a lunch restaurant down by the harbour in Skagen. High season, thirty degrees, full tables, children and draft beer and fried plaice - Denmark at its most Danish.

A young couple sat down at the table next to us. Mid-twenties, from a mid-sized Danish town, he a tradesman, she friendly and well-spoken.

We fell into conversation, the way you do while waiting for the food - where are you from, what do you do - and the conversation drifted, as conversations do these days, onto the culture war, which he in particular was preoccupied with. Islam, Christianity, the EU, political life.

A completely ordinary conversation between completely ordinary Danes over lunch.

And then he says it. Calmly, out of the blue, as if he were remarking on the weather:

"If you ask me, we obviously need to keep an eye on Islam - but the real threat is the Jews."

Krisztina was about to get up. I managed to put a hand on her leg under the table and send her the look that, between partners who have been together for decades, means - wait.

Not because the sentence didn't deserve an answer - but because I wanted to know how deep the well was before I said anything. So I asked, as neutrally as I could -

"Ok. Well, some people do think that. Are there many around you who feel that way?"

"Yes, pretty much all my friends."

Krisztina tried again, by way of history - "But surely you know the history. They have always been persecuted - and during the war Hitler killed six million of them..."

She never got to finish the sentence.

"Well, they deserved it. They brought it on themselves."

The sun was shining. The plaice arrived.

I looked at Krisztina, and we understood each other without words - not here, not now.

We had driven to Skagen for the day's sake and for each other's, and there were families with children at every other table. You have to know when a conversation is a conversation - and when it is merely an occasion.

So we ate our food in peace, wished them a good day and walked out into the sun.

But the sentence came with us.
And it is still lying on the table between us.

A nice, normal, friendly young couple - and the sentence Europe has spent eighty years promising itself never to hear again, served over lunch, as if he were noting that the food needed salt.

What I want to tell you today is that this sentence was not a bolt from a clear sky. I had expected to hear it out in the open this year.

Because it is not one stray young man in Skagen. It is the surface of something that has grown larger than most people quite notice, beneath us, while we were looking away - and I can document it - as can many others here on this platform - because I, or we, have been standing in it all year.

Over the course of this year I have written a series of exhaustive texts and hundreds of long comments about Jews. About their three-thousand-year history, from Abraham through the exiles to the rebirth of the State of Israel. About their traditions, their scriptures, their way of carrying memory through the centuries.

About everything the Western world stands on without knowing it - that Man bears the image of God, that the law stands above the king, that conscience cannot be owned, that every child should be able to read - foundation stones that are all Hebrew, and which were carried out to us through a Jewish saviour and his Jewish apostles.

I have written about the causes of the persecution, its patterns and its costumes through a thousand years. About the grammar of Jew-hatred - the kind that cannot imagine a human being who freely holds an opinion, or a people that wants something of its own.

I just read through the DSA's new platform.

It is the most utopian/dystopian, bat-sh*t insane thing I have ever read.

It includes:

1. No more bills for anyone

2. Government-run food, housing, medicine, transportation, and nationalizing all other large corporations and essential industries

3. The drafting of a “new constitution”

4. Defunding the Department of War

5. Slavery reparations

6. Unlimited free abortion and “gender-affirming care” for all, including minors

7. Have taxpayers pay off everyone’s entire student debt & fund unlimited “free” higher education for all

8. Taking “steps toward fully abolishing the police and prison system”

9. Ending ALL deportations, providing amnesty for ALL illegal immigrants, and allowing unlimited migration to America

10. Abolish the Presidency, Supreme Court, and Senate

Other than that, their plans seem super realistic, practical, and not at all naive, revolutionary, or dystopian.
