"Sell United and f*k off home" sing MUFC fans, the only good thing about the club right now.
And it's right. The Glazers have made their money many times over for 21 years. Fans never wanted it and that takeover should never have been allowed. Do the right thing: sell up and go.
3 of these 4 chances are on a plate. Top players control and finish. Imagine Ruud, Rooney, Van Persie etc in these situations... and this was one of Bruno's bad games... apparently.
@timscoreboard 👏🏻👏🏻 rare that I find myself disagreeing with you, Tim. Ultimately football's a pretty basic game and if you don't do the basics well, you've got no chance. Watching that performance with an extra man on the pitch was nothing short of shameful.
@ChrisCanning13 Love this, Chris. The game obviously changes and evolves over time but ultimately it's simple. If any team won't do the basics well like moving the ball quickly, you've got no chance, especially at elite level. It was so pedestrian yesterday.
@jimmymcbride1 Worst part of this is him mocking people for being support of their kids when they're trying their best. Not all kids will be exceeding but surely as parents, all we can do is ask that they try their best. That's all I ask of my boys.
Just because Michael Carrick doesn’t let rip in press conferences doesn’t mean he lacks “passion”. You don’t start off at five, playing in Under-9s five-a-sides at Wallsend Boys Club, getting beaten 14-0 and still in there fighting for a comeback without having a competitive nature. You don’t leave a loving, secure home at 16, move to West Ham, and make it as a pro without being driven.
You don’t become seventh on the list of Manchester United’s all-time appearance makers – behind only Giggs, Scholes, G Nev, Rooney, De Gea and Keane – win five titles for one of the most demanding managers in history, overcome a bout of depression, take and nail a penalty in a Champions League final without having strength of character. You don’t captain United for a season unless you have leadership qualities.
Leadership comes in differing forms. Carrick is a quiet leader, who will have his say behind closed doors, for the players, not for the cameras. Not for show. Carrick has a big job on at Manchester United but don’t doubt his determination to get it right. Because he cares about the Club, the staff, the players and the fans. Good luck to him. #MUFC
@JBanned__ What a place that was. Every top DJ on the island turning up to play for free. A load of us went there one day and a lad turned up with a bucket & spade. The bucket was full of broken disco biscuits he couldn't sell. He made a cocktail punch in the bucket! A wild day!
@JBanned__ Bringing back loads of memories... not always good times. In full view of everyone, I once got strip searched by the Guardia Civil in the Space car park. Basically taking the piss out of me. Just had to let them get on with it 😂
