Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has met Yaniv Hayun, the Flydubai passenger that helped restrain a pilot who stabbed a colleague.
Netanyahu called the passenger a ‘hero’ during a meeting at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv shortly after the flight landed.
Crazy thing I saw today:
Professor of Infrastructure David Umahi measuring the roadside with his legs. I still wonder why this country is not a Netflix series!
VIDEO: Argentine goalkeeper refuses to save penalty in protest against referee in Bolivia
Gustavo Tesonotte, goalkeeper for 10 de Noviembre, deliberately stood aside as a penalty was taken during a Copa Simón Bolívar match against Independiente Cochabamba, protesting what he and his teammates considered an incorrect penalty decision.
The penalty was converted, giving Independiente a 3–2 victory. Bolivia’s National Referees Commission later suspended referee Carlos Arteaga indefinitely after determining that the penalty was wrongly awarded.
A Lebanese Muslim doctor had been living in Germany for many years. He studied there, became a doctor, and was working as a senior physician in a hospital.
In 2012 he applied for German citizenship. He signed a declaration that he accepted the constitution and rejected extremism. He scored full marks on the citizenship test.
In 2015, when the citizenship certificate was about to be handed over, the female official extended her hand. The doctor refused to shake it.

My both kidneys failed at 31.
I went through Dialysis three times a week. I was dying slowly.
They put me on the transplant list and said I might not last. One night after dialysis I could not stand the pain. I shouted to God until I had no voice left:
The next test before transplant showed my kidneys working again.
No dialysis since. It's been four years and they still work.
The specialist said he had never seen such a thing.
I gave the rest of my life to God.

Today, we look back with grateful hearts as we celebrate 59 years of marriage.
It feels like yesterday that we began this journey together. Through the years, we have experienced seasons of joy, challenges, growth, answered prayers and countless reasons to give God thanks.
We have learnt that marriage is not just about the beautiful moments. It is about choosing each other every day, giving room for growth, showing patience, forgiving, praying together and trusting God through every season.
Above all, we are grateful that God has been at the centre of our home. Every step of the way, He has remained faithful.
As we celebrate 59 years together, our hearts are filled with thanksgiving to God and appreciation for everyone who has loved, prayed for and supported us and our family over the years.
We are grateful for the journey so far, and we look forward to all that God still has in store.
To God be all the glory.
With love,
Pastor Enoch and Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye

Anytime people talk about the attitude of Reuben Abati on Arise TV and how he tries to bully his co-presenters, I do not take it too seriously.
The reason is simple: Reuben Abati is more of a politician than a journalist.
As someone who has served in the capacity of a Special Adviser on Media to a President, he has mastered the craft of rewriting narratives and painting them into something they were never envisaged to be.
To Reuben, everything is politics, and the only time he seems to speak reality without restraint is when he is discussing people he is not on talking terms with.
So many times, he has had clashes with Ojy, always trying to shut her down.
Probably because he is the eldest among the presenters, he often seems to lord his age and experience over others, using them as a means of intimidation.
But one thing I like is the fact that he has Rufai as his match.
Rufai is someone who will never succumb to such intimidation, and that is perhaps why their exchanges are always interesting to watch.
At the end of the day, Ruben Abati may be a brilliant journalist, but the politician in him is always very visible and will never allow him to do his job without bias.
