I do this. Both of them are high mileage for which I paid cash. Since they are high mileage, they sometimes break down and need repairs. This way I am never without a vehicle. Also when my family needs a vehicle because theirs is in the shop or something going on I let them borrow it.

Rural southern Illinois here. It is a beautiful area without too many people. And I get along with and like those that are here. Plus, parents, kids, grandkids, and related to a large number of people in my part of my county. If it wasn’t for Chicago, it would be a perfect place to live.
