I do this. Both of them are high mileage for which I paid cash. Since they are high mileage, they sometimes break down and need repairs. This way I am never without a vehicle. Also when my family needs a vehicle because theirs is in the shop or something going on I let them borrow it.
Rural southern Illinois here. It is a beautiful area without too many people. And I get along with and like those that are here. Plus, parents, kids, grandkids, and related to a large number of people in my part of my county. If it wasnβt for Chicago, it would be a perfect place to live.
@TheMarkMiller@fourboxesdiner@neeratanden Iβve been saying this for several years. I live in Illinois, where the Chicago area decides for the entire state. The state has 102 counties, outside of the Chicago area only seven voted Democrat in the last presidential election.

@CollinRugg Yes, a brain injury from the car crash, which can cause a person to be confused and a danger to themselves because they are not in their normal, right mind. Under those circumstances it is appropriate for the police to take them into custody to get them medical attention.
@Talkmaster Thomas is getting up there and could theoretically retire in the next 4 years, throwing the court back into a 5-4 split, with wishy washy Roberts on the fence way to often.
