MPs vote 330 to 275 in favour of #AssistedDying Bill - & bring hope & comfort to so many. It has strongest safeguards in the world & by keeping issue in public eye as it goes forward for further consideration, we have best chance of improving palliative care too @dignityindying
Carol Hunt
Hannah Hunt
Louise Hunt
RIP
Say their names
I can not imagine John Hunts pain. I send every condolence for his senseless loss.
I know the killers name.
I had to scroll quite a while to see the names of the women murdered rather than their relationship to men.
Kyle Clifford was Louise Hunt's ex-boyfriend.
Raise your hand if this was your first assumption too.
Now bracing for the list of his escalating violent and controllling behaviour and "missed opportunities", "overlooked red flags" and "collective failures".
The jibes aimed at Emma Raducanu are sexist & unwarranted. Andy Murray has been great but he’s had his day, plus a gushing Wimbledon tribute. All she is doing is putting singles ahead of doubles. Can’t for one minute believe Murray wouldn’t do likewise.
Vive la France, for its collective capacity to unite vs fascists. Tonight we celebrate. But we should not get carried away: the fascists are, still, at the door. And, as the only solid opposition, they will benefit from the deep EU-French crisis before the Presidential election
CONGRATULATIONS to France for avoiding a colossal mistake by defeating far right Marine Le Pen, we are trying to avoid the same mistake here.
VIVE LA FRANCE! 🇫🇷💪
French centrists must decide: support of the left - or hand the keys of power to the far right?
Now we will see if Macron cares about French Democracy in the way he claims to.

Each of us is equal before the law. No one is above it – not even a president.
With today’s Supreme Court decision on Presidential immunity, there are now virtually no limits on what a president can do.
That is a new, dangerous precedent.
“I don’t walk as easily as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. I know how to do this job.”
Exactly the right message.
Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November. https://t.co/Tn2TQu5Djo
I firmly believe President Biden is the best person to beat Trump, and it pisses me off that ageism and ableism are driving more concern than a felon and rapist who constantly lies while so many reporters and pundits just shrug their shoulders in response. Ludicrous.
I guess the worst sin you can commit in American politics is being bad on TV. We should all feel embarrassed that this framing is even the least bit credible.
