To say I love serving this team is an understatement. This team has battled through the grind of a season that has seen so many players injured and missing all or most of the season, so much that they were granted a waiver by the NCAA to add players to the roster at semester to ensure they had enough healthy players to compete. Through it all Coach Peterson and his staff have kept them together and striving to compete each and every day. Today on Senior Day they honored 4 Seniors (2 of which have only been with the team for 8weeks) and secured a 4 seed. Again To say I love serving this team would be a understatement, weather it’s a conversation, a hug, a text, sharing a prayer, a smile, a Thank you or me Crying in front of them as I speak to them, they fill my cup!!!!! A t-shirt may not seem like a lot but to see these guys react to getting these was a reminder of the message.
Jesus defeated sin, overcame death, and secured eternal life for those who believe in him.
These coaches and players come from different backgrounds and faith walks, but I know this I love and support them and they love and support me!
The scoreboard and win/loss record doesn’t define you, do things the right way for the right reasons and you always win!
