Kaspa recently had a big upgrade. Here’s what it means in normal words:

Before: #Kaspa was like cash. Sign it, send it, done.

Now: a KCC coin on Kaspa L1 can carry rules. “This coin can only be spent if X happens.” The network itself checks the rule. That’s a covenant.

#KCC20 uses those rule-carrying coins to make tokens. Your token balance is literally a coin with the token’s rules baked in. Nobody can mint extra, nobody can fake a transfer, and the network enforces it, not a middleman.

How the final standard plays out will be cool to watch 👀
