There are 40,000 German soldiers in the landing areas. 150,000 Allied ground troops are fast approaching. Not one German is aware of this right now. Anyone near Omaha or near by where I can possibly store by van and get it towed to a shop Monday by chance ? Triple A allows 200 miles . Omaha is about 80 miles away . Can any shops look at it money ? Thank you again for you help . I am ok.
Tonight as I was driving , a deer ran out in-front of me . I’m ok, the van isn’t . Sadly the deer isn’t either . Currently stuck on the side of the road . My truck is overheating . I am in Iowa near the 94.2 mile mark . Anyone near ? I may need to have my van towed to their house for now until I can see if I can get to fix and fly home :(
I’m on I29 outside of Craig . I’m looking at the picture now, it was two deers . The bigger one did the damage . I see the small one now in the picture . I guess it was a baby deer and a momma deer :(

Freedom has never been guaranteed. It has to be earned, defended, and sometimes paid for in the hardest way imaginable. Today on Memorial Day, we stop, we slow down, and we remember those who did.
We honor them.
We thank them.
And we work hard to live up to what they died for. Keep the democracy they believed in worth believing in. That is the ultimate tribute for their sacrifice.
