Was the vacation a present from his grandparents? Was it funded by an organization for educational purposes? Did he save all of his birthday money from the day he was born and did he work weekends to go on this trip? We don’t know.
It’s completely normalized for millionaire companies to seek government help or funding where they can of it saves them money, but we’re gonna shame a teenage boy for trying to save his family money? Don’t think so.
