Shaikh Ibn ʿUthaimīn was asked about Shaikh Rabeeʿ Al-Madkhalī. So, he responded: “It is clear that this question does not require my answer just as Imām Ahmad (Ibn Hanbal) was asked about Ishāq Ibn Rāhawaih (d. 238 H), so he replied, ‘Someone like me is asked about Ishāq?! Instead, Ishāq is to be asked about me.’ At the beginning of my speech, I spoke about Shaikh Rabeeʿ, may Allāh grant him success, and what I mentioned has never ceased to be what I hold about him in my soul until this time––his arrival here and his words that have reached me––no doubt, they are such that they increase a person in his love for him, and supplication for him.”
Now, weigh the speech of this great scholar with the defamation and revilement perpetrated by Daniel Haqiqatjou against Shaikh Rabeeʿ and the Salafis! Who will you believe?
