Having said all of that, I wouldn’t turn down a generous offer and would turn my eyes to someone like Schade at Brentford. Assuming we’re also signing a couple of dynamic wingers.

Gakpo has been poor this season, yes. But he’s an experienced player in an already bare-bones attack who only cost £37m. You’re not replacing him for that.

He’s versatile and can play across the front line & there’s obviously a player in there somewhere. A change of management and system may do him good.

Keep him another year, there’s too much turnover as is. Use him as a squad player and give us couple of windows to reinforce.

Rob o & Mo would be so beneficial to have on those training pitches during the first few months under Iraola. Really buy into the high energy methods and set those standards.

I’m sad to be losing Ibou, especially in this manner.
Fantastic character and comfortably one of the best CBs in the league.

Though on a personal level, I am pleased for him. A dream move to a team he’s been a fan of for years.
