@grantdeac@beaujangel@LMcKirdy7 btw i think a sin bin is as tough a call that should be made in origin games - to protect the spectacle of the game - but then i suppose teams may take advantage of it and take a shot and burn 10 mins in the bin.
@grantdeac@beaujangel@LMcKirdy7 this is probably the best views of the contact - itโs a nasty shot - disappointing that Koula is out for two games as a result.
Tolutau Koula came from the field early & did not to return to the game - failing his HIA after this tackle from Kalyn Ponga (that resulted in a send off)
Koula will enter the NRLโs concussion protocols with an associated 11 day stand down period - if he is required to follow this he would miss the Sea Eagles next 2 games, as they next play 2 days and 9 days from now.
@KingRos34720652@sandylanceley origin is such an intense contest -going down a man for the game is too big a penalty - so i like the idea of a 15-20 min loss of a player- the speed of the current game still gives a large cost in terms of fatigue to the penalised team. And yet still gives a chance of a contest
@grantdeac@beaujangel@LMcKirdy7 mmm interesting- how does a qlder view that picture and not see shoulder impacting head ?
iโm not for send offs in origin as they are almost unrecoverable and ruin the spectacle of the game.
@trent_wright15@mrchrisnico@NSWBlues i thought it was contact from both shoulder and head to Koulaโs head - but the angles shown werenโt conclusive either way
@winsordobbin@Gatty54 he stayed out of the game for most of it. The send off - Ponga made no wrapping motion, had forceful contact to the head and took Koula out of the game - i though my it was shoulder and head contact but even if it wasnโt it was dangerous.
@rossco1304@Gatty54 surely people understand that when some people speak - it just turns people against them.
like Cash, Chris Bowen - the less they say the better they go ๐
