The Richard M. Stimson Award for Offshore Navigation was presented to the Storm Trysail Club in 2003. To qualify for the award, an STC member must navigate on a yacht (or yachts) with the best-combined fleet positions from among the races entered.

Much respect to my good friend @timprophit. This afternoon he’s in Massachusetts to accept the Richard M Stimson Award for Offshore Navigation from @stormtrysailclub .

@_tenderloin @TimProphit @StormTrysail So gratifying to see @TimProphit recognized at this level. While we have sailed together and enjoyed so much success with him at the helm, I most cherish that I have had the privilege to call him a friend for over 35 years.
