A little end of year news…I will be at @CNN for another lap around the track in 2026 to offer commentary on the midterms. Glad to be a regular on @TheArenaCNN with @kasie, among other shows. Tune in!
Peggy Flanagan urged Minnesotans to go out and put their “bodies on the line” against ICE. Democrats want dangerous reckless nominees - this race, and Platner’s is the proof.
The Supreme Court is allowing Republican politicians to wipe out Black political representation and power.
We need to make it impossible for politicians or the courts to manipulate these maps once and for all.
So amazing seeing Don Overton honored at the White House at @ufc Freedom 250!
Don’s story is so powerful, and he’s been an incredible partner in helping us get Ray-Ban Meta glasses to every blind veteran.
Thank you to the men and women who have sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸
How does Scotland get its own team in international competition? Wouldn't that be like us sending a Florida baseball team to the Olympics? Soccer is so weird.
1. Election Day is going to be defined as - wait for it - Election Day.
2. Campaign finance will get more accountable as more campaign cash now in the system will come under the approval auspices of candidates themselves.
3. Birthright citizenship likely remains intact.
Sleep tight.
I fear we have a cruel month ahead of us: the future of campaign finance law, the definition of Election Day, the fate of birthright citizenship. While I remain hopeful, I am prepared for democracy to leave this month weaker than it entered. https://t.co/WKWGn1CznF
If your candidate losing a single presidential election is the linchpin in whether or not you are proud to be an American, you really do not understand what it means to be an American.
I'm not sure if Democratic politicians get how cancerous their own base's anger is here. Elections are won by the prideful optimists. You cannot be trusted to lead a country if it is not obvious you love it.
NBC News poll: How proud are you to be an American?
Overall
Extremely/very 56%
Not very/none 21%
Extremely/very by party:
GOP 90%
Dem 29%
By age:
65+ 75%
18-34 36%
@shelton_brad If you believe you will be made unwelcome in the American South, the home of hospitality, then you have been misled by the press, be it ours our other countries’ press.
@BradOnMessage I’ve spent a ton of time overseas in the last 18 months. She’s correct. I spend more time than I should have to trying to convince people that we’re not what they see from the White House.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8
There’s a lot of faulty theology going on in Texas on both parties’ tickets. No vote or quote from any politician can earn them heaven or hell - only the cross can do that.
Fox 26: Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick said Democratic U.S. Senate nominee James Talarico was “going to Hell” for his views on the Bible while speaking at the Texas GOP Convention Friday.
Talarico responded by saying Patrick has “sold out the poor, the sick, and the vulnerable to enrich his donor.”

While people all over the world have migrated to the United States some of the earliest settlers & hardiest were Ulster Scots; these immigrants found coastal lands expensive & took the Great Wagon Road into the Appalachian Mountains.
So this makes all the sense in the world. 🇺🇸🏴
CNN did a segment on Freddy, the German soccer tourist, and sports analyst Christine Brennan claimed "I saw some conversation, Wolf and Pamela, about how the rest of the world is looking at the United States and feeling that we are—it's a foreboding image and that we are inhospitable...But how wonderful again, that sports can bring people here and show people that the United States and you know, the South is welcoming a German tourist in a way we would never have anticipated"
Who is "we"?
Elias: Why does California have signature matching? They have it to satisfy the same right-wing zealots who claim there’s fraud, right?
So they do this whole kabuki theater that takes all of this time in order to contend with the fact that people say that if you don’t do signature matching, there’s going to be fraud. And then they get attacked for taking the time to do that very thing.
The fact that the New York Times thinks there’s a middle ground here… Here’s my message: I don’t compromise with Republicans because there is no middle ground between a firefighter and an arsonist, and they are trying to burn down democracy.
One of the Big Lies of the left is that the government can “make investments.” It cannot, as it only has access to the capital created by others, and it only gets it by confiscation. It is not the government’s money - even after it takes it.
This the basic difference.
Republicans believe that that if you let the wealthy spend capital it will make Americans prosperous.
Democrats believe that the federal government investing in the healthcare & education of our people will make America prosperous & productive.
When Don told us that Ray-Ban Meta glasses gave him his independence back, we knew we had to help every blind veteran in America do the same.
In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, we’re humbled to share that in partnership with the @BlindedVeterans, @Tunnel2Towers, @HomesForOurTrps, and many others, we’re giving @Meta glasses to the blind veterans who have sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
