We can let our time be filled with meaningless activity or meaningful activity. That’s a daily choice we get to make.
Be proactive. Plan ahead. Close the gap between what you want to do, and what you actually do.
I used to interpret a "Not Now" as a "No."
However the more I've read the Bible, the more I've seen Biblical characters persevere through seemingly closed doors. They understood that a delay is just that - a delay.
What delays are you treating as denials?
Learning to direct your thinking is key to changing your outlook.
"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” - Philippians 4:8
LEADERS: To get better answers, ask better questions.
Empowering questions = empowering answers.
Our questions determine our scope. They either narrow our perspective or broaden it.
Once an olive is crushed, it produces oil. As oil, an olive that was once bitter and inedible can be used for fuel in lamps to create light.
We too will go through times of crushing. And God doesn’t use the crushing seasons to harm us. He uses them so we too can become light.
Never despise the crushing times...
In order for us to be most effective, a process is required.
It’s in the crushing that perseverance and perspective are formed. It’s in that process that we remember where we place our reliance.

God has uniquely gifted you with specific ways to be used in service of others.
No matter the #doubt, step out.
You may never know the blessing that’s on the other side of your obedience.
We may wish for "someday when..."
But someday will never come if we don’t start today.
The unchecked excuses in all areas of our life can quickly become the #1 thing holding us back from what God has for us.
If the pain of doing something is higher than your desire to do it... you’ll procrastinate.
If the desire to do something is higher than your perceived pain... you’ll move forward.
Overcome #procrastination by decreasing the pain or increasing the desire.
#Procrastination comes down to the Pain:Desire ratio.
We start procrastinating when we link pain to the thing we don’t want to do.
We continue procrastinating when our desire to follow through doesn't rise above that pain.
Prioritization is when we “put off” certain tasks to do something more important.
Procrastination is when we put off important tasks to do something not important.
Moses asks God in Psalm 90:12 that He would, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom”
Once we learn to take care of the days the years take care of themselves.
