Quite simply: more users = more liquidity. More liquidity = better product. Better product = more users

Some mid-week thoughts for me:
Although I hate talking about technical indicators of any sort, the reality is they are still signals in this game. The interesting/tough thing for a limited supply collection is you need to have enough incentives such that:
- People will diamond hand
- People will want to list and sell at a high price (subjectively speaking)
- People will want to buy at said price
Hence providing both liquidity + a steady state of growth in floor price. Well, at least to me, this is the longer message of what people on CT refer to as 'Utility'.
Sometimes some of these initiatives tend to contradict each other, sometimes they help to support each other. Finding that balance has been real hard to say the least.
E.g For us, like I've mentioned for some time now, our long-term solution is Build-Your-Own-Identity + Deflationary mechanism. Something that speaks to you, has your stories to tell, has a history that retains. That's our key driving solution to provide the above, but above all - a positive belonging to a community or organisation. And all coming with increased scarcity with the burns. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out alongside other things we build along the pipeline.
With 50k raids in motion, we now officially introduce a concept we have derived the past month - "Capsules". Not to worry, we know Mad Merge is complex enough, so it is a small change. Read on.
The past month, we have been observing the burrow (and, by extension, the Web3 space). More importantly, we wanted to segment members into different various profile groups based on different factors.
One of the key problems we have been working on resolving is how to increase the chances burrow members not miss out on an initiative, but also provide reason to incentivise those who check in more frequently.
A key issue with the original "Seasons", is that it would largely disincentivise people who check in the burrow less frequently. It is undesirable for Mad Kats who have spent a large amount of time staking, only to be penalised as such and miss out on the chance to exchange for a trait.
Thus, we will be introducing Capsules - which serve a close purpose to leaves. The difference is that:
Leaves - Ability to exchange for traits that are limited in quantity, but that have no time limit for exchange.
Capsules - Ability to exchange for traits that are limited in quantity, AND with time limit for exchange. Meaning, seasonal traits.
We liken this to traditional fashion vs fast fashion.

With the introduction of capsules available for raid, we are pleased to announce that the first set of traits has been officially completed by @MmbDecorator. We have had a lot of enjoyment designing them - and we hope you'll share these enjoyment when you use them along with the Mad Merge upon release.
