@billjamesonline It would be difficult, I do believe it’s something that can bridge a gap between “analytics” and coaching “feel.”
Could it be something like expected runs created in each situation - I know it’s extensive but could be a start?
@billjamesonline A bunt single may effect the games momentum differently than a hbp, seeing-eye single, hard hit ball, etc.. statistically; all relatively equal, but is it possible for there to be hidden value in bunt singles based on momentum alone? Just one example.
