Spent a little time optimizing a hot route on a Ruby Roda + SQLite JSON API app

15 db queries: 1 refactored, 3 new indexes & all now use prepared statements

DB time was ~5ms per req, now ~500us per req

Most of the req time was in DB, reqs now are under 1 ms

The official @medusajs 2.0 release is next week and Workflows is a big part of what makes 2.0 flexible and reliable.

Really like this component back from the beta release of Workflows - does a great job of explaining how to custom durable executions in Medusa.

If you're a "senior" on a team & think you'll have to do 50% of the work yourself, my advice is to do _none_ of the work yourself. Instead, spend your time helping the "juniors" do the work. You'll find the overall work will go much faster because everybody becomes better faster.

@jbrancha @alexbdebrie I am honestly on board with smaller #infrastructure footprints (which is surprising since I am more of a Platform engineer) but, THE MOMENT I need high volume jobs, SQS is what I move to from #Postgres.
