My wife told me that she wants to see me being more emotional, especially when things are not going right. I told her that I train adults on how to remain calm during an emergency.

‘You are my husband, and not my Training Captain. You can do that with your crew.’

Though I believe that we should always remain calm during any form of emergency, the lesson to learn here is to remember to leave office work at the office and not bring it home.

I saw a video where a guy claims that if you die while fornicating perhaps from a heart attack, and you’re “a child of God,” you will still go to heaven because “it’s a gift.” However, he adds that you will enter heaven with “shame” and that Jesus will send you to the naughty corner while He intercedes on your behalf.

Guys, I say from a place of love and concern that doctrines that encourage these kinds of mindset are very deadly!

Why should children of God spend so much time talking about the sins they can commit because the price for the repercussions has been paid? How can you claim to love God and do exactly what He warned you to stay away from, simply because He has saved you from it and paid the price? That’s not love. That’s EVIL.

Rather than thirsting after righteousness, you’re striving to see how far into immorality you can go in the name of grace and the finished work, reducing the repercussions and gravity of sin to mere jokes and vibes.

It’s no longer “How can we love God, please God, and fear God more?” Now, it’s “How can we systematically enjoy immorality on earth since heaven is sure?”

It’s not “How can we live a life of purity and holiness?” Instead, it’s “Even if you’re doing this and that, don’t worry—you’re forgiven.”

The comment section was what scared me the most. The concerning number of people nodding with approval and bringing scriptures to back up the message in the video was alarming.

I implore us to be careful of our associations and community. It’s not just about stage lights, good sound system and fog machines. How sound is the message that’s being preached in word and song?—do they make you comfortable in sin, or do they drive you to strive to please God and know Him more?

Does it cause you to grow and mature in your walk with God in thoughts and deeds, or does it make you try to see how much of the world you can blend into your faith? I leave us with this passage 👇🏽

Pepper, Spicy foods and fasting doesn’t cause ulcer but like I said earlier, they worsen ulcer symptoms in a patient with ulcer.

Now when you take drugs(NSAIDS) like Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, felvin, etc they can lead to the breakdown of this protective lining, allowing the gastric acid to act directly on the walls of the stomach causing an ulcer.

Ulcer simply means a wound, a breakdown of tissues.

The stomach secretes an acid known as gastric acid with a pH of less than 3.5 enough to burn through your skin, why doesn’t it burn the stomach?

This is because the stomach is protected by a sheet of mucus-like substance that protects it from being destroyed by this acid.

• Wetin Dey Even Cause ULCER?

Ulcer is caused by TWO main things;

1. A bacteria called Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori).
2. Abuse of certain pain relief drugs called NSAIDS.
- These drugs include Diclofenac, Ibuprofen, Advil, Aspirin, etc.

Spicy or peppery foods do NOT cause ulcer but they can worsen ulcer symptoms in someone that ALREADY has ulcer.
