@Inferno_Man Yes. Years like 1991, 2014 or 2022 each changed the identity of Kharkivians drastically. Not only national, but one relating to the region - Sloboda Ukraine - for example.

@Inferno_Man I think it’s a very typical postcolonial situation, when the former colony has to deal with the ruins of an empire that was not intending to leave its former colonies alone. It meant the need to reach for the previously repressed cultural markers of national identity.

@_prp_057 Насправді, це дуже зелена вулиця навіть за мірками дуже зелених європейських міст, із гарною мережею внутрішніх садів та чудовою поверховістю будинків. Це буквально 15-хвилинне місто. Безбарʼєрність - інше питання, радянської травми.
