Yesterday was Tawjihi day. In May, it was reported that more than 80% of schools and all 12 universities in Gaza were destroyed. Another school was bombed just days ago killing at least 30.

WHAT HE’S DONE:
He’s Americas most successful Democratic governor. (Long list below)

- tax rebates for the working class up to $1,300 (making under $150k per year)
- 12 weeks paid family leave
- 12 weeks paid sick leave
- banned conversion therapy
- red flag laws for guns
- universal background checks for guns
- automatic voter registration
- free public college (under $80k)
- ban on PFAS (forever chemicals)
- $2.2 billion increase in k-12 school funding
- sectoral bargaining for nursing home workers

WHO HE IS:
Born in a small town in rural Nebraska and representing a deep red district in Southern Minnesota in Congress, he knows Ag, rural issues, and the Midwest. But he’s also signed into law some of the most progressive legislation of any governor in the country, and did it with a one seat majority. Arguably the most pro-labor governor in the country, with many of the relationships to prove it. He is also 24 year veteran of the army national guard and former teacher.

WHY HIM:
-Walz likely delivers Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska's 2nd congressional district and would be extremely competitive in Michigan. No path to 270 without those states.
-Walz is not in a critical Senate Seat
-Walz is very down to earth, relatable, funny and just common sense
- With his progressive track record and sense of humor and likability he will fire up young voters even more.
