150 de ani de la nașterea lui Constantin Brâncuși - mai mult ca oricând, ne învață să vedem esența lucrurilor.
150 years since the birth of Constantin Brâncuși - more than ever, shaping how we see the essence of things.
Footage filmed by Constantin Brâncuși in his Paris studio and in his native Romania, at Târgu Jiu — between two worlds that shaped his vision.
“What is real is not the external form, but the essence of things.”
In this anniversary year, we choose to return to what Constantin Brâncuși sought throughout his life: the essence of things.
In a world that often looks only at surfaces, measures worth by appearance, and mistakes noise for meaning, Brâncuși’s search for essence feels more urgent than ever.
Starting with the 2026 edition, Brâncuși Week will propose an annual theme, a lens through which to explore both his creative process and our own.

Brâncuși’s birds didn’t need wings to defy gravity. They soared in form, in spirit, in the way they captured the very essence of ascension. Long before rockets and satellites, his sculptures imagined a flight beyond our world.
