Honestly, nowadays the second a game says it's live service I just assume it's an awful game and move on.

People just accept them because the whole point of MMO's are to be in a huge world with tons of people online. They fundamentally can't exist in a purely pve or single player manner.

(You missed overwatch though) the only halfway decent game here is Diablo, but that games designed to screw over the players progress so they can continue wasting their time for nothing.

I play a couple pvp only games (although they at least provide an option for bots) my problem here is its a subpar pvp experience tacked on to a subpar pve experience.

I do exactly that, I dont play ANY live service game with an entry fee because I have a thing for feeling like I'm making progress towards something permanent/valuable. But the game has so much potential that's wasted.

@DeniBeYashoki @Cyberrank10 @exoprimal I don't care about the agreement, I want "give me good game, I give you money" like the vast majority of games are. Live service is fine when there is no entry cost to the game because that agreement actually makes sense. Exoprimal plays like a free game.

@DeniBeYashoki @Cyberrank10 @exoprimal That's actually exactly what I did. I never moved a goal post. I set it earlier and you ignored it and decided to kick in to the soccer goal instead. I still play GameCube games and some 64 and snes games all the time. Thats why it frustrates me.

@DeniBeYashoki @Cyberrank10 @exoprimal Also, "console" I dont play on consoles too often anymore for that reason. But I also said "in your lifetime" for a reason. Old Sega Saturn's still work and if they don't, can still be repaired. The hardware will not disappear in my lifetime so thats not an excuse.
