Come on, @Ram_Guha, this is a bit much. What experience did Barack Obama, a first-term Senator from Illinois, have in world affairs when he became President of the most powerful country on earth, while it was caught up in multiple global issues? For that matter, how much international exposure did the CM of Gujarat have to manage India’s International relationships? @RahulGandhi has led a national party for a dozen years. He has extensive contacts with leaders around the world and no shortage of advisers inside and outside his party. No President or PM handles crises alone; that’s why he heads a government! I think it’s time to put this overblown controversy to rest.
Shocked by the exclusion of Mumbai batter & Test discard Sarfaraz Khan from the India A squad for Sri Lanka. Is there a better batsman outside the Test team than him? No one’s first-class record comes close. How can the selectors justify this? @sarfankhan97@imAagarkar@GautamGambhir@BCCI

Hey Rishabh Pant,
Don't listen to Gautam Gambhir.
You're doing fine. You win games for us. You bring joy to us.
He only brings grumpiness & bitterness which he masks as grit and toughness.
So, don't change.
Bro didn’t even think twice before giving away mattresses from his shop worth lakhs in fire rescue operations in Delhi.
Takes special kind of selflessness and heroism to do this.
Absolute Hero, Mohammed Riyazuddin 👏
VIDEO | Delhi: On Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) to stage protest on June 6, RJD MP Manoj Jha says, “My position on this matter is very clear, and I have already written about it. Until the ideology of any outfit is clearly defined, it is not appropriate to make episodic comments about it. As far as the political formation you are referring to is concerned, our understanding of its ideology is still not clear.”

Remember Ram Guha wrote a piece on how Nitish Kumar should head the Congress and how he was the next big thing? NK soon joined the NDA after that. That is how much Ram Guha is connected to actual ground politics.
This is Armaan, Owner of mattress shop in Malviya Nagar. He laid out all his mattresses so that people trapped in the burning hotel could jump onto them and save their lives. in this way, several lives were saved too.
Armaan is a real life Hero❤️
Anjana Om Kashyap says CBSE chairman & Secretary were transferred because of her report.
Aaj Tak, don't you have any shame left?
Only 3 kids made this possible :
Vedant Srivastava,
Nisarga Adhikary & Sarthak Sidhant.
If it wasn't for them, this would have been buried for ever
In my previous post, I mentioned that while I have a soft corner for Rahul Gandhi, I have never hesitated to criticise him when I felt it was warranted, like I did over the Hyderabad deforestation issue. To put my thoughts about him in perspective, here’s an interesting anecdote from the past.
Back in 2010, I was a student at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi. I don’t recall the exact month, but two or three students from each of the institute’s four PG Diploma courses were selected, apparently on the basis of their entrance exam performance. We were then informed that we would be meeting Rahul Gandhi.
To be honest, most of us were puzzled. Back then, Rahul Gandhi was General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), and none of us quite understood why we were being taken to meet him. We were driven to 12, Tughlaq Lane and seated in what I remember as an office or meeting room. Two faculty members accompanied us.
Rahul Gandhi spoke to us about politics, foreign policy, governance, and his vision for the country. But if I’m being truthful, most of us didn’t take the meeting very seriously. IIMC students were known for being politically aware, outspoken, and fearless. At least that was true back then. I can’t really speak for the present, when critical thinking seems to be increasingly unfashionable across the country.
What stood out to me wasn’t Rahul Gandhi. It was the behaviour of the two teachers accompanying us. Both seemed excessively excited, almost starstruck. One of them was actually my favourite teacher, an absolute authority in her field. I regularly skipped classes to spend time in the library, but never missed hers. Yet during the interaction, both of them sounded like outright sycophants. It was all, “Rahul ji, aap yeh,” “Rahul ji, aap woh.” Many of us students discussed it later and found it deeply cringe-worthy. After that day, I looked at them somewhat differently.
As for Rahul Gandhi himself, I found him polite, decent, courteous, and surprisingly well-informed. But we weren’t particularly impressed. We assumed it was political outreach, a politician trying to impress young minds with lofty ideas. In fact, many of us felt we would have been more excited to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, whose academic achievements and distinguished career, including his tenure as Governor of the RBI, resonated more with us at the time.
Still, it was a pleasant interaction.
What stayed with me, however, was that Rahul Gandhi came across as remarkably normal. He felt like one of us. Back then, many of us assumed that persona was carefully crafted for the occasion. We thought he was performing simplicity to connect with students.
But sixteen years later, after watching countless interviews, speeches, and public interactions, I realise something: the person I met that day is the same person I see today. What I once dismissed as an act was probably genuine. The simplicity, the conversational style, the lack of political polish, that’s simply who he is.
I don’t trust politicians, and that includes Congress leaders. But if Rahul Gandhi has a political strength, it lies in that authenticity. People may disagree with him, mock him, or underestimate him, but I believe that sooner or later he will connect with a much larger section of this country and become significantly more popular than many currently imagine.
My only hope is that if that day comes, he remains open to criticism. Democracies need leaders who can tolerate scrutiny. I would like to live in a country where Rahul Gandhi, if he comes to power, can be criticised as freely as any other politician, without supporters turning every disagreement into a loyalty test, whether online or in everyday life.
@RahulGandhi
A 17 year old @sidhant_sarthak who exposed the CBSE tender document process is likely to appear before a parliamentary panel today . More power to you young Sarthak, you have done what we in the media should have done: shown truth to power!👍 (hope you aren’t called ‘anti national’ for your efforts!)!https://t.co/rCP8hF1LVw
