Friday's EF4 tornado is the first to affect the state of Oklahoma since May 9, 2016. This means we went 2369 days without an F4/EF4 tornado in OK. This was the second longest stretch without an F4/EF4 in the state. The longest was April 30, 1984 to April 25, 1991 - 2552 days.
