@marriedmn I think, due to the sunk cost fallacy, after making such a tremendous investment and sacrifice you have no choice but to feel justified with your decision.
If things were different economically I’d love to have kids but I don’t wanna slave away my whole life for kids
@AndrewYang The call agents are by far the closest to good enough and many businesses already outsource to cheapest solution
For every hot air all hype AI solution, this one is very real. Phillipines is boned too
@MsVeilMoney Understand SpaceX went public 20ish years in to their life span compared to Microsoft which was 5ish years old when it did.
Private investors already had themselves a generational buy. Us public plebs are very late no matter the share price
@banks_abanks@MsVeilMoney Yep. Any trouble with OpenAI or Anthropic and suddenly the insatiable demand for compute is well… satiable hehe
Long term couldn’t be more optimistic tho
Vilifying the political party you disagree with isn’t getting us anywhere. Just lateral moves. Technology is what moves the ball forward for all of us. So which party is more likely to propel us forward technologically? 🤔
@BowTiedBroke This is why I was in favor of Andrew Yang‘s universal basic income. Easy to scoff at initially. But I don’t think it’d be that expensive if it wholesale replaced all these other broken incentives and programs. So much easier to administer too
@SawyerMerritt This felt a bit fluffy to me actually to be honest. Looks like they only have 800 million users, which is nothing to sneeze at, but this is a lot of vague hyperbole
@stevenjayhova88@BowTiedBroke I mean, OP’s goal is literally to find the next Amazon and this is a valid point. Last I heard SpaceX would need to become a quadrillion dollar company in order to generate the same 2000 style Amazon return
@_trundler Indeed. Becoming exceptionally clear that Gaming is gonna follow coding as next huge disruption.
As a consumer I’m excited tbh. My fav game atm is called Kanto tactics. Solo vibe coded. Insanity
@JK_Lundblad Yep I’m optimistic and could not be more cheering them on. But these are hard problems and any of them leading to compromise or redesign would change the economics of their entire business
