Dr. Fred Matiangāi has condemned politicians exploiting young people to advance their selfish interests. Speaking at Jesus Is Alive Ministries, he urged the youth to shun unnecessary political confrontations and focus on building their future.
āThe youth should be empowered, not exploited for selfish political interests
Why Dr Matiangāi Could Change Kenyaās Fight Against Corruption
Corruption remains a major obstacle to Kenyaās development, wasting public resources, weakening institutions and denying citizens quality services.
Dr Fred Matiangāi has pledged to fight corruption through firm leadership and enforcement of existing laws. He has also stated that he and his children would not do business with the government if he became president, a commitment aimed at preventing conflicts of interest.
His record in public service, particularly his efforts to curb examination malpractice, provides a basis for examining his emphasis on discipline and accountability. He argues that Kenya needs leaders who enforce the law rather than simply establish more institutions.
For these commitments to deliver results, his administration would need to ensure transparent procurement, independent investigations and equal treatment under the law.
Ultimately, Matiangāiās ability to tackle corruption would be judged by measurable results: protected public funds, consequences for proven wrongdoing and greater public trust in government.
Kenya needs more than promises. It needs leadership that turns commitments into action and public accountability into reality.
Kenya has faced a serious management deficit for quite too long.We have tolerated mediocrity and allowed those in power to violate the law without interrogating the consequences thereafter.Dr Fred Matiang'i says Discipline is destiny and we must priorities the rule of law.The wheels of justice have to role superseding once position and power in government.Leaders are servants not bosses. We need this man to fix Kenya.

Dr. Fred Matiangāi has said Kenya already has enough laws and institutions to fight corruption. What is needed, he argues, is honest, courageous and accountable leadership willing to confront corruption without fear or favour.
His message is clear, public resources must serve the public, not a privileged few.
From demanding transparency in mining concessions to calling for the disclosure of major government agreements, Matiangāi has continued to make accountability, transparency and responsible use of public resources central to his political message.
No more secrecy. No more impunity. No more public resources lost without accountability.
The promise is simple,a government where every shilling is accounted for and every public office carries responsibility.

WHY DR. FRED MATIANGāIāS EDUCATION AND INTEGRITY POSITION HIM FOR LEADERSHIP
Leadership is not merely about political popularity, powerful speeches, or the ability to command attention. It is about competence, integrity, discipline, and the courage to make difficult decisions in the best interests of the nation.
Dr. Fred Matiangāi brings to the leadership conversation a combination of academic achievement, experience in public service, and a reputation for a firm, results-oriented management style. His experience in the education, interior, and other government dockets gives him an understanding of the challenges facing public institutions and the importance of accountability in service delivery.
1. Education that informs decision-making
A strong academic background can equip a leader with analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to understand complex national challenges. Kenya needs leadership that approaches unemployment, education, healthcare, insecurity, and economic development with informed policies rather than empty promises.
2. Experience that understands government
Having served in senior government positions, Matiangāi has firsthand experience with the machinery of government. This background could help him understand how policies are developed, implemented, and evaluatedāand where reforms are needed to make public institutions more efficient.
3. Integrity that demands accountability
Kenya needs a leadership culture in which public resources are protected, corruption is confronted, and public officers are held accountable. Matiangāiās leadership record should be assessed against these standards, including verifiable evidence of his decisions, achievements, and handling of public responsibilities. Integrity must be demonstrated through actions, transparency, and consistencyānot merely claimed in political speeches.
4. Discipline that prioritises results
National transformation requires discipline, clear targets, and the political will to implement difficult reforms. Kenya needs leaders who can turn policy into measurable outcomes, strengthen institutions, and ensure that public services work for ordinary citizens.
5. A vision that puts Kenya first
Ultimately, the question is not simply who has the strongest political following, but who can unite the country around a credible programme for economic opportunity, accountable government, national cohesion, and a better future for the next generation.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Dr. Fred Matiangāiās education and experience provide a credible basis for considering his leadership potential. The ultimate test, however, is whether he can translate those qualifications into ethical leadership, national unity, economic progress, and tangible improvements in the lives of Kenyans.
Kenya deserves leadership where competence meets integrity, promises meet performance, and power serves the people.
Because the future of Kenya should be built on more than political noiseāit should be built on vision, accountability, and results.

When the political noise gets louder, listen for the substance.
Dr. Fred Matiangāiās message has been about more than personalities, slogans and political theatrics. It is about strong institutions, accountability, security, discipline in public service, constitutional governance and a government that delivers for ordinary citizens.
Kenya does not need leadership built around endless political drama. It needs leadership that understands the weight of responsibility, respects institutions, protects citizens and gets things done.
The noise will come and go.
What matters is the vision, the principles and the record behind the words.
Because ultimately, politics should not be about who shouts the loudest.
It should be about what we build, how we govern, and the Kenya we leave for the next generation.

In this hour of profound sorrow, we stand with the bereaved families, the St. Mathias Mulumba Parish community and the entire Catholic fraternity. May God comfort and strengthen them, and may He grant the departed eternal rest.
