Nice to see ppl talking about this stuff more in a normal manner. Avoided talking about it for years for various reasons but we're past that.

The game feels a lot much worse now as a result of the anim changes imo. Had multiple friends stop playing when they were changed :/

Dude just add it as a setting, I’ve tried to humble myself and not be a OG movement crybaby, but it gets to a point.

I’m so done pretending like the current animations have pushed the game to be better.

Compare any clip from ch1-4, to any clip from ch5-7 and you’ll get it.

Here is a thread of Fortnite movement "issues" I've noticed (updating as I find more).
Some are fixable, while others are just inherent to motion matching. I really hope Epic brings back the OG animations (state machines) in Chapter 8.

We coulda had something special with OG, but we got the old map, which we’ve already had before, the same sloppy movement, bad lighting, multiple wrong map changes..the only unique thing is the old gun models

Literally add OG movement as a setting, keep speed, hitbox, all that the same.

-changed movement animations again
-got rid of the stupid build climbing
-took out attachments
-went back to hitscan
-changed the graphics to be more vibrant
-prioritized battle royale over metaverse slop
