What is happening in the Democratic Republic of Congo is evil, and it is sad that African voices are quiet when their own people are dying like this, yet they make noise about conflicts away from the continent.

Is African life less important than any other, is the death of a black person insignificant?
Are you ashamed of speaking for your own people, only to suddenly find your voice when bad things happen elsewhere away from the continent?

History will never respect Africans for allowing this to happen on their watch, especially those with voices who would rather be seen writing about conflicts elsewhere!

It is indeed sad but not surprising to be reminded that Zimbabwe is one of the worst-governed African countries!

It is sad because it means fewer serious investors will be interested in bringing their money to Zimbabwe.
It is not surprising because we have a president who runs criminal cartels that loot public funds, and he is not bothered by that fact.

Zimbabwe is a place with political prisoners, more than 100 of them, including opposition leaders Jameson Timba and Jacob Ngarivhume.

It is the same country that allows 2,500 women to die every year while giving birth because the largest hospital only has one maternity theatre, built in 1977 by the colonial government!
It is the same country where the president’s criminal cartel sold to government an internet server bought for US$4,500 for US$1.5 million, and the president is fine with it!

It is the same country where exposing corruption is a crime, and a journalist was jailed three times for exposing state corruption.
It is the same country where failed prospective judges are appointed to the bench, while those who passed are not!

It is the same country that has the highest inflation in the world and 95% unemployment, where all urban cities and towns lack clean running drinking water, and where boreholes are found at affluent shopping centres!

So, this news that we are one of the worst governed African countries should not surprise us, but it is disappointing nonetheless and should sadden any sane human being!

Emmerson Mnangagwa’s regime has banned the sale of unleaded petrol in Zimbabwe using statutory instrument 150 of 2024. Why?

The answer is very simple, his close friend Billy Rautenbach owns Greenfuels, which blends petrol and makes millions a day from blended petrol.

Zimbabwe had an opportunity to get cheaper ethanol from Brazil for 80 cents if it wanted to blend its petrol, but Billy used his political connections to secure a monopoly.

Very few politicians will talk about this because they were bribed.
So, banning unleaded fuel is meant to protect Billy’s interests.

In other countries, ethanol is 80 cents a litre, but Billy is selling it at US$1.20 a litre or more.
Blended petrol is meant to be cheaper, but blended fuel in Zimbabwe is more expensive than unleaded in the region!

As you read this, Zimbabwe's largest hospital, Sally Mugabe Hospital formerly known as Harare Hospital, is entirely out of painkillers and intravenous fluids.

Doctors have informed me that the situation is so dire that a patient with a broken thighbone from a road traffic accident was left in the Orthopedic ward without a single painkiller.

This crisis is a direct result of the looting of public funds that I have consistently exposed and discussed on this page.

It is a terrible tragedy that Zimbabwe's healthcare system is in such a dire state that even basic medical supplies, like painkillers and intravenous fluids, are unavailable in the country’s largest hospital.

Meanwhile, the ruling tyrant, Emmerson Mnangagwa is busy ordering the construction of luxury airport VVIP lounge complexes and villas for the government elites when the health system has collapsed like this.

The fact that a patient with a severe injury, such as a broken thighbone, cannot receive proper pain management speaks volumes about the critical condition of Zimbabwe's healthcare infrastructure.

Health administrators are powerless when politics deny them the necessary funds, as these funds are being looted.

This is why it is important for us not to be distracted by sideshows meant to stop us from this rot, imagine being in a hospital without a pain killer, the biggest hospital in your country!

This is the lunch that was served to pregnant women today at Parirenyatwa Hospital’s maternity unit.

Parirenyatwa used to be the best hospital in Southern Africa, second only to South African hospitals in the 1980s.

This comes after the Zimbabwean tyrant, Emmerson Mnangagwa, commissioned a multi-million dollar VVIP complex of airport lounges today for himself, his wife, and corrupt cabinet colleagues.

This is what corrupt rule does to a country. This is what Zimbabwean pregnant women are subjected to by the dictator, Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The contrast between the conditions at Parirenyatwa Hospital's maternity unit and the investment in the VVIP complex at the airport highlights the disparity in resource allocation in Zimbabwe.

While the hospital is in dire need of improvements to ensure adequate care for pregnant women and their babies, the regime has prioritised luxurious amenities for the president and his goons.

2500 pregnant Zimbabwean women die every year giving birth, and many now go to South Africa where their chances of survival are high!

This is Namatai Kwekweza, a young Zimbabwean activist who was abducted from a plane last week by crookED Emmerson’s secret service thugs.
As you can see, she was beaten and held incommunicado for 8 hours at Robert Mugabe Airport.

She is accused of committing a crime in Zimbabwe on a day she was actually in South Africa.
crookED Emmerson’s secret service thugs hid her passport so she couldn’t prove her location on the day she is supposed to have committed the so called crime.

However, the South African travel agent who issued her ticket has confirmed that she was in South Africa.

The fact that she was arrested and tortured by state security thugs is deeply disturbing and highlights the challenges faced by activists and opposition figures in Zimbabwe.
It is crucial that her case be brought to light and that pressure be applied to ensure her safety and release, as well as that of other detained activists.

Zimbabwe has a president with a criminal mind who has looted public funds and plundered the country’s natural resources ruthlessly.
Whenever he is challenged, he abducts, tortures, arrests, and jails those who stand up to his criminality!

Namatai Kwekweza's story is a reminder of the importance of defending human rights and promoting democracy, even in the face of opposition and repression.

This is the result of Zimbabwean secret service torture on teacher and trade unionist, Robert Chere, yesterday.

He was pulled off a plane by the secret service officers yesterday afternoon along with three other activists who were also tortured.

This is what the criminal cabal of Emmerson Mnangagwa does to citizens in civil society, the opposition, and the media.

It is important for the international community and human rights organisations to closely monitor the situation in Zimbabwe and speak out against such violations.

Dear Africans,

This is Tambudzai Makororo, one of the 74 Zimbabwean political prisoners who were severely beaten by the Zimbabwean police, arrested, jailed without trial, and denied bail.

They were arrested on June 16 after meeting at the home of opposition leader and former GNU cabinet minister, Jameson Timba, where they were commemorating the Day of the African Child.

While in prison, Tambudzai lost her baby, and the Zimbabwean regime refused to let her bury her child.

She underwent surgery on July 8 to treat a fracture caused by police brutality. Unfortunately, due to the terrible prison conditions and lack of wound care, she developed sepsis and her wounds began oozing pus.

Doctors are shocked why someone in such a state can be denied bail.
She is now in a critical condition, but Mnangagwa’s regime doesn’t care.

It is deeply tragic that she and the other political prisoners have been subjected to such violence and inhumane treatment at the hands of the Zimbabwean police and authorities.
The fact that Tambudzai lost her baby while in prison and was denied the opportunity to bury her child is beyond cruel.

The international community must take notice of the massive human rights violations taking place in Zimbabwe and apply pressure on the Mnangagwa regime to stop these brutal and inhumane acts.

There is virtually no political opposition in Zimbabwe, so only the world can help this particular lady.

Sixty Zimbabwe National Students Union (ZINASU) student leaders were beaten and arrested this morning by the Zimbabwean police for simply meeting to discuss their student business.
They were meeting at a training center owned by the country’s power utility, meaning that it wasn’t clandestine.

This shows how the Mnangagwa regime continues to violate Zimbabwe’s constitution and shut down public meetings!
This is a clear violation of democratic rights and freedoms.
The fact that student leaders were beaten and arrested for simply exercising their right to assemble is not only appalling and unacceptable, it is unconstitutional.

The fact that this meeting took place at a public venue owned by the country's power utility and government demonstrates that there was no attempt to hide or engage in any clandestine activities.

The Mnangagwa regime's heavy handed tactics are not only unconstitutional but also serve to stifle free speech and political engagement.
These actions speak volumes about the regime's disregard for democratic principles and its willingness to use violence to suppress freedoms.

Feresi Chakanyuka is so shameless that she used a law that doesn't exist to convict and jail Sikhala. She even disregarded a High Court ruling that clearly stated such a law doesn't exist!

There must be an online website that documents all these corrupt and captured magistrates, the opposition must learn to fight back using today’s tools like the internet and AI to expose these unprofessional and captured ZANUPF magistrates!

It is unbelievable that Feresi Chakanyuka could blatantly disregard the ruling of a higher court ruling and apply a non-existent law to convict someone!
Tafadzwa Mhofu, too, has proven that she is no better than Chakanyuka with her equally shameful role in this sham trial.
