@SBAdealCloser@HealthcareREguy Maybe, it sounds awesome but it’s short term cash for long term liability and that big lease payment eats into the ebitda which bites you when you go to sell. Seller inherits a lease that’s 3x market rent.
@FreebirdSMB It is insane how often I run into this as well. Sellers go to check cashing place and then pay expenses and payroll in cash. “Non SBA eligible” lol
Rules of Thumb:
Every business owner with a business worth $0-600K wants $1M for it.
Every owner with a business worth $1M wants $2M for it.
And once their business is worth $2M-3M, they're holding out for $5M.
Very hard to overcome these forces until life or the market or a great broker brings them to reality.
