Stephen A. Smith might be right. Maybe it's wrong to judge Jerry Jones for something that happened 65 years ago. Maybe he was just "curious." How could anyone know?
A thread.
Election day. Go vote!
My rule of thumb for voting:
Vote for decent human beings.
Do their actions in life seem to reflect being a decent person who genuinely cares? Pass that test, then consider policies. It's not perfect, but just how I value things.
The @dartmouth debate team has just won the national championship, after a tournament of grueling Single elimination rounds just like NCAA basketball
They won it last year too, making them one of very few colleges to win 2x in a row. Coach john turner and team deserve credit
1) Unvax'd are 5x more likely to get COVID (can't spread it if u don't have it!)
So: Unvax'd are perpetuating a deadly disease b/c they spread & get more easily & allow new variants to evolve, some that might be more resistant to vax's & start another uncontrollable spread.
Members of Congress should not be allowed to trade individual stocks. Period. Put your money in conflict-free investments or pick a different line of work. That’s part of my plan to root out corruption in Washington.
I want to be clear, we will investigate the security posture on January 6. But blaming the security for the violence on that day is like blaming an assault victim because of what she was wearing.
Let’s be clear about what just happened: the GOP Senate minority used a filibuster to obstruct an independent investigation into a deadly armed attack on the Capitol. If we want to protect our democracy, we must #EndTheFilibuster.
There were 54 votes in favor of enacting the January 6 Commission, and 35 opposed, but because our rules are completely bananas that means that the 35 WON THE VOTE. The filibuster must go.
When working with athletes, it's why, even as I get older and more out of shape, I still put myself through a really challenging workout every once in a while.
You need to remember what it feels like to go through it.
