Glen Coe 1950's or 60's. This is a scan of an old family negative. Took me a while to place it but it's a view from the A82 in Glen Coe, Scotland. The photographer is looking South-West with Bidean Nam Bian in the background. The cars are parked in what is now the 'Three Waters Waterfall' parking place.
A short morning walk around the stunning market town of Keswick in the Lake District. From the town centre we walk through the delightful Hope Park then admire the view of Catbells from Crow Park. Then we walk down to the magical Friar's Crag before returning via the viewpoint overlooking Derwentwater at Castle Head.

A short walk around the historic, and spiritual, town of Glastonbury in Somerset England. The post linked here features the town, the Abbey, King Arthur's Grave, the wells and gardens and the famous Tor. https://t.co/ktjaihi3Yr
In #Ambleside all set for a wander, and hopefully some good photography, tomorrow. Thought I would do a quick beginners video about #Lakedistrict maps for the central area. Trying to talk a bit quiet so as not to disturb the other hotel guests!
These majestic old stones sit on the edge of Broomridge in #Northumberland near Goatscrag Hill and Ford Moss. In the distance can be seen the mighty #CheviotHills.
Got to love the ancient British landscape. Here a sarsen stands at the end of West Kennet Avenue near #Avebury in #Wiltshire. The original avenue would have extended a further mile or so South East linking the #AveburyStoneCircle with the Sanctuary. #HistoricBritain
