I lied, the best part was clearly being told that it wasn't the router that was the issue, but that we didnt have fast enough broadband, just need to squeeze some extra ยฃยฃ out of us and it will magically start working again ๐
best thing about being on chat to @virginmedia for over an hour, is when the chatter closes the conversation even when you say you're not done because you haven't responded in *checks notes* 1 minute, when they take literally 10 minutes to respond to each reply
@Positivteacha I got around it by protesting to wear trousers (when I started my secondary school in early 90s we were only allowed to wear trousers โin winter weatherโ) all year round. I donโt recall teachers policing skirt length but other girls would if they thought you were being โsluttyโ
@fesshole Research reckons they cost on average a few thousand quid to the companies. I looked it up shortly before submitting a DSAR when a certain online retailer denied my new customer cashback claim of around ยฃ15, claiming I was an existing customer, proved me right
Hello @RoyalMailHelp it seems having an account with you means I now get emails for any delivery to my address whether itโs for me or not? Surely you should only be tying notifications to the buyer/recipientโs email ? Good job itโs not the season of buying surprise giftsโฆ
Sadly you couldnโt make this up:
Man aggressively interrupts women filming a report about creating safe spaces for women.
A mother and daughter sharing their story on feeling unsafe had to stop as he became verbally aggressive, perfectly proving why such spaces are needed.
@OctopusEnergy hi there, trying to figure out why you seem to have forgotten to bill my elderly mum for her gas since September? but your website seems to be down, when we log in its just a blank page (have tried with several browsers and nothing)
Left: Kemi Badenoch says British citizenship should be "a privilege to be earned" and not an "automatic right"
Right: A Nigerian TV channel points out that Kemi Badenoch's mum flew to London to give birth to Kemi, then flew back to Nigeria, where Kemi was raised till the age of 16
How did Kemi Badenoch "earn" her British citizenship when her mum flew over just to give birth, or is that the "automatic right" she wants discontinued for others but is happy to have had for herself?
