The Rosary of Abandonment: A Prayer of Trust by Servant of God Don Dolindo Ruotolo

In times of anxiety, uncertainty, or overwhelming burdens, many Catholics turn to a simple yet profound devotion known as the Rosary of Abandonment (also called the Surrender Rosary).
This short chaplet, prayed on ordinary rosary beads, centers on two powerful refrains: “Jesus, You take over!” and “Mother Mary, guide me.” Its message of complete surrender to divine providence has brought peace to countless souls, echoing the words of Scripture:
“Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you” (1 Peter 5:7).

The prayer was composed by Servant of God, Don Dolindo Ruotolo , a Neapolitan priest renowned for his deep spirituality, humility, and mystical experiences

Fr. Ruotolo is most famous for the Surrender Novena, in which Jesus is said to have spoken to him these consoling words:
“Shut your eyes and say with all your soul: Jesus, You take over. Don’t be afraid, I indeed will take care of you… A thousand prayers do not equal only one act of abandonment.”

The Rosary of Abandonment flows from the same spiritual insight. It invites the faithful to hand over every worry, problem, and decision to Jesus while seeking the maternal guidance of Mary.

How the Prayer Is Structured

The Rosary of Abandonment begins with the traditional invocations:
“O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me.”
Glory Be, Our Father, and Hail Mary.

It then proceeds through five decades:

1. 1st Decade: “Jesus, You take over!” (10 times) + Glory Be

2. 2nd Decade: “Mother Mary, guide me.” (10 times) + Glory Be

3. 3rd Decade: “Jesus, You take over!” (10 times) + Glory Be

4. 4th Decade: “Mother Mary, guide me.” (10 times) + Glory Be

5. 5th Decade: “Jesus, You take over!” (10 times) + Glory Be

It concludes with the Hail, Holy Queen.

Because number one, I'm amazed at the betrayal of Muslim women who, for whatever reason, have had an education and are able to emancipate themselves from Islamic law, insisting that Islamic law is not what it is and that we don't understand it.

We live in the Information Age. We are literate. Any of us here can pick up the Holy Quran and read the Hadith.

And beyond that, because we live in this age of interconnectedness, we can take a look at the facts of where Islamic law is implemented, what it looks like for everyone, and typically what it looks like for women.

Saudi Arabia is a country that implements Sharia law.

Women are not allowed to drive. They have male guardians. Their testimony is worth half of that of men.

They are subjected to every possible humiliation that you can think of.

Ayatollah Khomeini, in 1979, with a great deal of public approval, became the Supreme Leader. He implemented Sharia law, Islamic law.

One of the first things that he did, he reduced the age of marriage to nine.

Everywhere where Islamic law is implemented, you have exactly that.

Speaker: Who's the "they"?

Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Those who are pushing for Sharia law and those who want to implement Sharia law.

Speaker: But none of us are, so that's not a matter of debate.

You know what that choice looked like?

I use to call it a choice the way a prisoner chooses to stay in a cell because they told her the outside will kill her. Like a hostage who chooses to defend her captor because survival rewired her brain.

Muslims in America are engaged in a coordinated WARFARE operation designed to completely blindside and subjugate law-abiding citizens under Sharia law.
