Top 7th, Mississippi State has taken an 8-7 lead over Louisiana Tech with four in the 6th. Dane Burns is on to pitch.

He walks the leadoff batter, passed ball advances the tying run to 2b, popup to 1b is out one, a called strikeout is out two, walk puts a runner at 1b, base hit to RF ties the game, 8-8. A called strikeout is the third out, but here comes the final half inning today, win, lose,,or draw.

Peter Mershon strikes out on a check swing, Drew Wyers gets one run back with a home run to CF, Noah Sullivan is HBP, Jacob Parker pushes him to 2b with a ground ball, Vytas Valincius sends a hot shot to 3b for the third out.
