We seek your attention on the grave injustices committed by the Nigerian government against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of IPOB. Here are the key violations:

1. Illegal Abduction: In June 2021, Kanu was abducted in Kenya and forcibly returned to Nigeria in a clear act of extraordinary rendition, violating international law and due process.

2. Torture & Detention: Kanu has been held in solitary confinement under inhumane conditions despite several court rulings ordering his unconditional release.

3. Defiance of Rule of Law: Nigerian courts and the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention have declared his detention illegal, yet the government refuses to comply.

These actions highlight severe human rights violations, disregard for international law, and suppression of dissent.
