lawns are the dumbest thing known to man
we take a wild plot of land, flatten it, replace it with one species of plant, cover it with toxic glyphosate that seeps into our water, air and home, all because a f**king dandelion grows which actually has anti cancer properties...then we spend hours trimming that grass because it does the one thing it wants to do: grow.
if we all replaced lawns with chickens, crops and cows the world would be a better place
You are arguing to protect the system you understand and have connections within. You aren’t left or right, you are a jellyfish of a man that will go whatever way the current takes you. A stunning example of weak men create hard times.
If by “red” you mean Canada’s colour 🇨🇦, hell yeah.
But if by “red” you mean left wing: I’m arguing for free trade (a right wing position) against protectionism (historically a left wing position.)
Sikhs have spilled blood, but most of it is from the air India bombing and highway accidents caused by a combination of their piss poor driving and fraudulent driving schools.
Here is a message for some folks who are telling Sikhs to go back:
Canada is not your Father’s property.
Canada belongs to every Canadian.
Sikhs have spilled blood, sweat and tears for Canada.
Sikhs were here
Sikhs are here
Sikhs will be here, forever in Canada 🇨🇦
Go and get yourself some mental help, and learn Gurbani that teaches Wellness for everyone.
If the elbows up crowd would have adopted this mentality in the first place we might have avoided some of this mess. Instead they insisted the government “do something” no matter how retarded.
No need Mark. Canada can put US booze back on the shelves but they can’t make us drink it. The boycott is a Canadian people-owned grass roots repudiation of Trump’s fascist regime threatening our sovereignty. We don’t need a petition we have our wallets and freedom of choice. 🇨🇦
An Update to the Community from Sgt Walker on Recent Littering Incidents
I want to thank the community members who came forward with information regarding two recent littering incidents widely shared online. Within hours, the public's assistance proved invaluable, allowing officers to identify the woman involved & move the investigation forward.
As a result, officers attended the woman's residence & issued two violation tickets for littering totaling $1,000. Due to privacy legislation, AbbyPD is not permitted to release the ID of the person involved.
These incidents understandably generated strong reactions. Our job is to objectively investigate & take action having considered all the relevant information. One of the many things we have learned over years of conducting investigations is that incidents like this are rarely as straightforward as they appear.
There are often many circumstances & challenges occurring behind the scenes, not visible from a short video clip. While those things may not represent an excuse for behaviour, they may help explain or better understand what occurred.
What stands out is the positive example set by the majority of our community who shared information responsibly & helped police identify the individual.
This is what effective community policing looks like: citizens & police working together in a measured, thoughtful & respectful way. This case also highlights the importance of reporting incidents to police. Public reporting remains one of the most valuable tools we have in addressing & maintaining public confidence.
I also want to address some of the online commentary. While people are entitled to express their frustration about the behaviour captured, racist, discriminatory & hateful comments directed at an individual's race, ethnicity, or background are unacceptable. Those remarks do nothing to solve the problem & they undermine the values of respect, inclusion & community Abbotsford is known for.
On behalf of the AbbyPD, thank you to everyone who assisted. Your cooperation, combined with a thoughtful & measured response helped bring this matter to a timely resolution & demonstrated what we can accomplish together.
You can read a kindergarten picture book and see that in the neighbourhood there is a doctor, a bus driver, a teacher, the mayor, baker...all making the wheels-on-the society-bus go round and round. What have conservatives got against truck drivers anyways? Elites only!?
#VanRE#cdnpoli@leahmushet_ "This hectic love life create headaches for the RCMP officers assigned," situations require 3 or 4 RCMP officers at once, while taxpayers fund the costs for the officers' travel, accommodations, meals, salaries & overtime. https://t.co/LOO3XQwLo9
American alcohol is coming back to Canadian shelves.
But here’s the funny part…
A whole lot of Canadians are probably going to walk right past it.
You can put the bottles back on the shelves, but you can’t magically put the goodwill back in the bottle.
Trump’s tariffs pissed off a LOT of Canadians.
Welcome back, American booze. Don’t take it personally if we still choose Canadian.
I am Canadian. No concessions on dairy. I’m sick and fucking tired of the US bullying their way through threats and bluster. We’re not a leash you can yank to heel. #CanadaStrong
They come from the worlds largest open air trash dump, to a country with a functioning waste management system and they still insist on dumping their trash into our waterways. They have a spiritual need to destroy and create chaos.
@pewresearch The incessant anti-India racist propaganda on @x played a big part in It. Also Indians from being pro-US till few years back have become equally anti-US. Now onwards US will grapple with anti-Americanism from Indians along with the Muslims, Chinese and Africans etc...
I dont think people get it
Donald Trump doesnt want a deal
He wants to CRUSH Canada because we voted for 11 years straight to humiliate him.
That's why there will be no deal -- Its personal and he wants revenge. And, he will get it.
Records uncovered by Blacklock’s Reporter show RCMP-compiled personal information was forwarded beyond banks to regulators and potentially thousands of firms.
