.@NYC_DOT promised that the Queensboro Bridge south outer roadway would be open to pedestrians by 2022. Now the deadline has been pushed to mid-2024. This delay is unacceptable and puts pedestrians and cyclists at risk for dangerous crashes. (1/2)

@richmintz I live a block off of Empire. It’s a damn shame that certain folks have conspired to keep it the way it is- preferring stagnation to any type of zoning reform.
At the very least, AirTrain should not be free to go to the rental car area while costing $8.25 to go to the subway! The city should be actively trying to reduce the extraordinarily high number of car trips to the airport. This does the opposite.
