@OConnorSarah3@PhDVoice I was the student president of my department and have seen both polar opposites of the spectrum. Choose the right mentor, be picky, make sure they have funding and still thirsty to succeed. Don’t be afraid to jump ship if you’ve been duped. Be selective.
