@RaysTheRoofTB I know offense has been a struggle all post season. Maybe I’m crazy, but it feels like they threw small ball out the window. Almost no bunt hits. A few sac bunts. Unusual steal attempts/lack of attempts. Nothing to spark things.
@kalhoosher@ECloskyWTSP He's definitely not afraid of the moment. His changeup is filthy when he's on. His interview w/@ECloskyWTSP last night he said he felt like he had it last night. Pratt just put a better swing on a good pitch. If the Rays can win it, they'll need Ian, Matz or both to be big!
@MarkDelFig9sga@ECloskyWTSP I’m not blaming Cash. The roster is what it is. MIL is great, no doubt, but you still have to put out your best guys to compete. Trotting out 5 guys w/an OPS under .500 is something. 3 are under .350 and one is .000. That’s tough to compete with.
@ZacOnTheMic This game was doomed when the lineup card came out. Players have to perform, but you can’t trot out your worst possible lineup and expect to win.
@darby_robinson@benwhitelaw73@OPS_BASEBALL I think what makes it look worse is Williamson behind Junior. If I was trotting out this group I’d go: Yandy, Junior, Vilade, Fortes, Simpson, DeLuca, Williamson, Mesa, Walls
Slots pinch hit opportunities in the 3, 4, 6 slots.
@PZalupski Excited to see the guys turn it around at home! Wish I could've made a WS game this year, but tickets just too much. Hoping to get to a game 6 and come for the watch party though. #RaysUp
