@BosPublicRadio I think the pandemic accelerated the transition to a cashless society. I literally carried the same $20 bill in my wallet for about two years, never paid cash for anything. My wife and I traveled through Norway, Sweden, and Denmark Last summer for 2 wks and never used cash.
Hey @mosquitoSQUADco is it company policy to allow your vehicles to violate the Massachusetts state law against motor vehicle idling? Not only is this truck running for minutes on end with no one near it, the windows are open, so somebody could steal it!
@mariastephanos@HarveyWCVB Truly the end of an era. Wishing you all the best Harvey. So glad I had my newspaper profile you earlier this year! https://t.co/pjCDMMGyp2
@BosPublicRadio The pandemic has really accelerated the end of cash. I literally had the same $20 bill in my wallet for two years, that’s how little I used it!
@teachwrite I’ve been seeing that slogan since I was a punk rocker 40 years ago lol. Punk is still not dead, but proper use of the apostrophe appears to be on life-support.
Decades ago, my grandfather told me a tale from his youth, about a century ago now, that was shocking, sad, and had a bit of black humor as well. Today that tale has been published as a short story I wrote.
