Over the past few weeks I've been building a tool with no meaning and no purpose.

It's just an aurora generator. I've spent way too long building it but I absolutely loved the entire process. I figured why, not make it live?

Check it out & make some at https://t.co/tGZLnHHEqK

@coreyward @figma Looks bad when you're scrolling through the page at speed. Scroll through slowly (whilst reading) and the experience is completely different.

To the young designers thinking a light on a button means skeuomorphism is back: we used to craft wooden UIs in 2013 😄

Design Twitter is largely full of bullshit. Nice to see this level of honesty happening.

Nice to see a fashion brand getting its style back. Bored of the current sans-style sameness.

Don't prompt me to 'click and hold' to see any info on your website. Scroll, drag, click - all good. Click and hold, can fuck right off.

Designers, it's important you understand this.

Users only read slightly more than a quarter (28%) of the content they see on a web page. (NN Group)

Using hard-earned cash reserves to avoid adopting a government scheme specifically designed for businesses in your situation is like refusing to ask for directions when you’re lost. Great read & advice from @AlexMyers https://t.co/xHQ9Ofh1a9

If you ever needed more proof that users do actually scroll, then this is it: https://t.co/VRXoVSEvJ6

Recreate buying a cocktail:
1. Stand at kitchen counter
2. Wait 20 minutes for a large fruit juice
3. Put £15 in the bin

'Don't talk. Do.' Great article this: https://t.co/qUZws60eew

I've always been someone that shows people what I can do by actually doing the job. You can talk about stuff all you like, but all you're really doing is putting off the inevitable and necessary actions required.

@itsJamesRead Yup. ALL the drinks, and ALL the food.

This is how far back they have to put the swab to test you for #COVID19.

You might want to follow medical recommendations and #StayHome.

This is why usability and jargon matters.

No user ever complained about 'too much white space' being on your website.

Today I learned you can move a screenshot area by holding the spacebar. 🤯
