@wendyp4545 This is not true. The issue the FAA knew about was an occasional caution light in the pressurization system. Not that there was an issue with this door. The door was most likely the cause of the caution light, but it was just one of many things that could have caused this.

@CheyCab B) ATC still short staffed in many areas as well. FL in particular still an issue anytime there’s weather. C) A lot of retirements/early outs during Covid caused a lot of brain drain for those flying desks at the airlines. Gonna take some time for them to reinvent the wheel again

@CheyCab A) airlines still short staffed, can’t hire/train fast enough to keep up with demand. Will be a problem for 2-3 more years, unless there’s a huge dip in demand. Any weather/mechanical issue exacerbates the lack of staffing problem.
