The #peakdistrict continues to shiver under a cover of snow, icing the quiet lanes and bringing light to every hollow. The sun rose yesterday with a glow that turned the hills and fields to pale gold, and I could only stand and shake my head at how impossibly beautiful it was.

The prediction for last night was -10°C but I'm not sure it got that cold. Maybe -3. Either way I was snuggled in bed fortunately!
