@HAJDUKSHEN@robinmonotti It’s clearly not. There are images after the Croatian’s player touch and before Veiga’s that show the sensor no longer registers contact.
@Patriot2929x Your belief of what the rules are or should be doesn’t change what the rules actually are. They distinguish between attackers and defenders and the “intentional and deliberate” touch is only applied to the defending team.
@mozidalam@joefooty Correct. The defender only did 3 fouls on Veiga in that play, the rules clearly say there must be at least 4 fouls to be given as a penalty.
@RGIII I love Cristiano and while he is the best Portuguese player of all time, Messi is the GOAT imo. But the sub has nothing to do with believing CR7 is the GOAT or not. At 41 there are several Portuguese players that are currently better and he was tired.
@swankybvb@UKwez@theoldzealand The ball bouncing on Veiga is irrelevant to judge offside, because it wasn’t a pass, so what counts is the last Croatian player that touched it.
@theoldzealand@Rhik17 Maybe there’s more than that, but nothing to do with race. They have a lot of quality but don’t seem to have the squad depth, maybe due to the fact that most don’t have strong local leagues to provide reliable options for the NT.
