It’s Pride Month! Here’s a sneak peek of findings from our survey of 3197 registered voters, including sizable samples of LGBTQ folks (n=427) and their allies (n=984).
First things first - Gaga is beloved by the LGBTQ community, passing Madonna, Cher, Taylor Swift, and Beyonce.
With Ron DeSantis set to kick off his presidential campaign alongside Elon Musk, we took a look at how the two are viewed:
Musk:
33% favorable (16% *very*)
46% unfavorable (31% *very*)
DeSantis:
33% favorable (19% *very*)
50% unfavorable (45% *very*)

@HeatherBoydPA will be a great legislator and keep Pennsylvania moving forward. It's hard to win a majority; PA Dems have done it thrice in six months.
Comparing this poll to a poll CR conducted in Nov '22, we find:
Nov ‘22: 74% of Rs viewed DeSantis very favorably
May ‘23: 42%
Nov ‘22: DeSantis has a 20-point “very favorable” edge over Trump among Rs
May ‘23: Trump has a 6-point edge
Instead of asking GOP primary voters to choose just one candidate, we asked them to choose ALL the candidates they approve of – a system of voting called Approval Voting.
The results show that just about as many GOP voters would choose DeSantis as would choose Trump:
We only have a little over a week left until Election Day.
The special election in HD163 will decide the fate of our Democratic majority and abortion access in Pennsylvania.

56% of voters nationwide told us they believed Clarence Thomas should resign — and I have a hunch that this morning’s revelations didn’t make that number get any lower.

A majority of voters – 56% – say Justice Thomas should resign. This includes 60% of independents and even 16% of Republicans.

POLL: We surveyed 877 registered voters across the state of Tennessee for the nonpartisan group @ProtectMyCare this month.
Tennessee voters are in favor of safe storage laws, red flag laws, and laws requiring background checks for all gun sales.
Yup. Polling very clearly showed that crime was by far the #1 issue for both Vallas voters AND Johnson voters. Chicagoans simply preferred Johnson’s approach.

In addition to being most likely to identify as "Irish American", Northeasterners were also the most likely to identify as Catholic.
Southerners were the most likely to be Protestant, and Westerners were most likely to be non-religious.
