This report is both unsurprising to anyone who has been trapped in precarious work at Oxford and also jaw-dropping in revealing the extent of exploitation of casual staff while relying on them for the majority of the tutorial teaching that is Oxford's signature offering.
@imanimosley I wonder how many were taught that part of the sequence by a specialist? I expect a good many were, but early jobs are practically nonexistent anymore. And it’s always struck me that 1000 years of music in one course doesn’t allow anyone to indulge in the music properly.
